Ràna Webster is a Scotland-based documentary photographer.
Born and raised in New Zealand she started her career with Radio New Zealand as a journalist reporting on news, social and cultural issues. She then moved on to working in documentary film.
She subsequently worked for a number of leading production companies producing investigative and natural history documentaries as well as three television series, including the acclaimed documentary Who’s Killing the Kiwi?
With her own production company, Hawk and Dove Films she made, amongst others, the acclaimed Tale of the Fish with director Haunui Royal.
Now based on the remote but beautiful Isle of Coll, Webster is documenting everyday life on this intriguing settlement for a photographic book project.
